Assessing factors affecting professional bus drivers in Central Java, Indonesia

Public transportation is a key solution to connecting city in Indonesia country. An important factor of driver behavior and fatigue the potential for loss this field. This study aims identify traffic risk factors associated with demographic characteristics, levels, body mass index, experience blood pressure inappropriate attitudes on public transport as well find out effects levels. research cross-sectional technique descriptive analytics. The sample was 67 professional bus drivers licenses Central Java Province, Indonesia. Data collection month 1-30 January 2021. Based results showed that respondents, 77.6% experienced severe level fatigue, 85.1% worked more than 8 hours, 73.1% had smoking habit. For Body Mass Index 29.9% are overweight, 65.7% have prehypertensive by categorical heavy (77.6%). periodic checks required regarding so accidents does not occur. policy working hours must be carried from an average 13.82 per day according regulations driver's period 5 years record future health problems. Professional dangerous there needs change work system order avoid related transportation.
